About Claudia Cortes

What makes me qualified?

As a licensed Realtor®, my duty is to abide by a strict code of ethics and standards of practice. In order to get licensed in the state of Texas a real estate agent needs to meet TREC’s qualifications for honesty, trustworthines, and integrity. Not to mention the hundreds of classroom hours of education on the industry.
  • Languages spoken

I am fluent in English and Spanish (read/write).

  • Areas in Houston that I service

I live in Northwest Houston. The areas that I most commonly service are Tomball, Spring, Cypress, Katy, Klein, Champions 1960, The Woodlands and Jersey Village. I can also show homes anywhere else in Houston and surrounding areas but we would need to get the scheduling sorted out because of the time to travel. Thank you for understanding.

  • Method of contact preferred

While any phone call is welcome I prefer to text most of the time so that I can carry conversations with many clients at one time. I will always do my best to take your call if you choose to do so. I also respond quickly to my emails.

– 2014, An Idea About The Industry

In 2014 I started a job with a company as a leasing consultant for some apartments. I quickly started to see that there were many people with the need for housing as they came in every day looking for a place to call home.

That same year my husband built a website for a cleaning company in which the owner was a Realtor. She encouraged me to get my real estate license.

– 2015, Learning The Ropes

I started going to Champions Real Estate School and realized that there were many things to learn about the industry.

Not only did you need to learn the real estate laws, you also needed to be able to market yourself and generate leads of potential home buyers.

– 2015 , Getting My Real Estate License

In the Spring of 2015 I went before the Texas Real Estate Commission and passed the real estate exam. I applied for my license and joined a brokerage, Bayou Vista Realty.

During this time I learned that having the real estate license gave me the opportunity to not only help individuals looking to purchase a home but also those who just wanted to find an apartment or a property for lease. I realized being a Realtor was going to be challenging but at the same time rewarding.

– 2016 , In The Trenches

From the day I started on this real estate journey to today, I have learned good and great things about the industry. I have been able to do what I love most and that is to help people find a place they can call home. Most of my business comes from referrals and I can say with great confidence that being a Realtor and helping people find their dream home is why I was put on this earth.

“Every mountain top is within reach if you just keep climbing.”

“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”

MY PHILOSOPHY:

“THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO EARN YOUR BUSINESS.”

As your Realtor I avoid exaggeration, misrepresentation or concealment of pertinent facts relating to the property or each transaction. Your privacy is also extremely important and I have promised to preserve confidential information provided by my clients even after the transaction.
